Retirement Tea Party

May 17, 2016 § Leave a comment

Hi! I wanted to share this fun project we were lucky enough to work on – a retirement party for a dedicated and very creative teacher. She also has bee hives (which I aspire to have as well), so we used that as the main theme. There is also a really cute die cut card in the shape of a hexagon for guests to write notes to her on, but for some reason I can’t find a sample, so pretend.

We created a custom wax seal which my clever client not only to seal the envelopes with, but also used to imprint on the top of chocolate cupcakes! so cool. I need to remember that!IMG_5785IMG_5788IMG_5790IMG_5786IMG_5787

Happy Holiday Card

This is a really cute project from a year or so ago – vintage toy illustrations arranged to spell out a Holiday greeting. Cute right? There was a photo adhered by the client on the back in the printed square (but I don’t have a photo of that unfortunately…) Letterpress printed on thick 220# Lettra 100% Cotton paper, designed and printed by Paper Monkey Press.

Little Dog

I wanted to share a fun project I’ve been lucky enough to work on for the past year or so… Little Dog! Created by Lisa Kendall who is the creative director of Little Dog, we are the exclusive graphic designer for the Little Dog / Sweet Life brand. I mainly just help to execute Lisa’s vision for packaging, layouts and color palettes as well as working on PR and wholesale materials. We enjoy working together because of our shared love of animals and design, so it’s a great fit!

Little Dog was inspired by patterns, paper, packaging, little luxuries and animals. Below are some samples of the packaging for the Little Dog Goat Milk soap line for the holidays, as well as paw balm and wrapping paper! All the packaging including the wrapping paper is printed on 100% cotton paper and assembled by hand.

And just for the holiday season there is a custom program available exclusively on the sweet life site, so you can personalize the soaps for all your fuzzy friends. Great holiday gift idea 🙂  (You can see some that were created for my little fuzzies Dottie and Diesel.)Unknown-1

Pelican and Beach inspired Wedding Invitation Suite

It’s always so fun, and an honor to work with friends on their wedding invitation set, This pelican inspirited wedding set (as they got married at the beautiful Pelican Inn in Muir Beach, CA) was fun to design, and I was even able to find the perfect peach goose feather to round out the whole set. A simple but elegant set and I was grateful for the chance to contribute to their wedding day.

Colorado Flatiron Mountain Wedding

Hi, I wanted to share this cute wedding we did back in June (I know I know, I need to catch up!) Jenn and Nate were getting married in colorado, up in the mountains- so I created a custom drawing of the The Flatirons, then printing them blind (no ink) on the invitation and again on custom bag tags for their guests. We also created a custom schedule of events (digitally printed), rsvp postcard (using a vintage photo of The Flatirons) also digitally printed, outer envelopes and custom digital addressing of the outer envelopes.(and at the end of the post there is a photo of one of the gift items they created with their custom logo- how cute are those custom chapsticks?!)

How cute did these baby announcements turn out? Classic, but still with a touch of whimsy and nod to their new daughter (pink!). Letterpress printed on Pearl White 110# Lettra cotton rag paper.
